Oooh, what's that, over there, on the horizon? It couldn't possibly be some sort of milestone, like a release or something, could it?
Yes, you know what, it might just be. After rather a protracted hiatus (not as painful as it sounds) we've been hitting the development trail quite hard over the past few weeks. And, believe it or not, some sort of momentous event is quite possibly on the cards in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
The Chipmunk plugin is now complete (see here), the Wheaterbics demo is now ported to the latest API, consequently error handling and development support is greatly improved, it properly works on Linux and Windows, and loads of other goodies. Probably.
All that's standing between now and a release is;
- Porting RetroWare to the current API
- Creation of a couple more, already planned, examples
- Write a couple more tutorials
- Package stuff up
- Write some docu-bloody-mentation, finally
Stay tuned, hopefully it won't be another three years in the making.
